Our Story
As a south Louisiana native and former French teacher, I developed a passion for the art of bread making while seeking a deeper connection with my French heritage. Using recipe books and YouTube videos, I taught myself how to make an array of breads including baguettes, brioche, sourdough, and croissants. In 2017, I made my first king cake and it was met with huge success. Not long after, my passion hobby became a full-time business venture. Having made the decision to go "all in", I left my teaching career and we built a commercial kitchen on our property in Maurice in 2020.
Our business has been growing and providing our community with delicious breads ever since. We attend the Moncus Park farmer's market in Lafayette twice a month and our breads can be found on the menu and retail shelves at Five Mile Eatery in the Oil Center. With more retail partners in the works for our growing business, the future is exciting!
My husband and business partner, Kory, and I have five children and a mini farm. We are endlessly thankful to our community for the support they have shown us in our dream of bringing homemade and wholesome bread and pastries to our area.
